PM2.5 air particulate matter monitoring instrument
The BAM-1020 air particulate matter monitoring instrument/pm2.5 detector adopts the principle of beta ray attenuation to automatically and continuousl
Product details
BAM-1020 imported PM2.5 detector

Testing principle:
Beta Consumption Test Method
Principle: The amount of beta rays absorbed by dust particles is directly proportional to the mass of the dust particles. Measure the mass concentration of dust (mg/m3) based on the amount of beta rays absorbed by dust particles.
This principle is not affected by the size and color of dust particles. Direct reading, fast dust analyzer, easy to operate.

METONE's BAM-1020 PM2.5 air particulate matter monitor uses the principle of beta ray attenuation to monitor particles. It has been certified by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) (EQPM-0798-122) and has also obtained corresponding certificates in the field of automatic monitoring and recording of PM10 concentration applications in the UK, South Korea, and China.

The PM2.5 air particulate matter monitor BAM-1020 can automatically monitor smaller particulate matter by equipping PM2.5 sampling ports, and can be set up to monitor total suspended particulate matter (TSP).

The BAM-1020 pm2.5 detector is controlled by an advanced microprocessor system to achieve fully automated measurement. At the beginning of sampling, the emitted beta rays are measured through a clean surface of a filter belt, and then the cross-section of the filter belt is pushed to the sampling port. The particulate matter is sucked into the sampling port and deposited on the filter paper. After the sampling is completed, the filter belt returns to its original position, and the beta rays passing through the cross-section are remeasured. By comparing the two measurement results, the particle concentration can be accurately obtained.

The PM2.5 air particulate matter monitor uses the principle of beta ray attenuation to measure the density of mass particles. A small 14C radiation source (beta ray) is connected to a sensitive detector used to calculate the emitted beta particles. The filter belt is placed between the beta ray source and the detector. As the number of particles precipitated on the filter belt increases, the number of beta particles detected on the detector will decrease.

The PM2.5 air particulate matter monitor BAM-1020 can evaluate the operating status in real time, ensuring the best reliability and the highest data repair quality. Users can choose various standards according to their data needs, including deviations from the average, deviations from high values, and many other conventional standards such as system power outages. This type of identification with date, time, and type will be recorded and printed out during daily data repair.

The automatic zero and drift calibration performed in each cycle ensures reliable and accurate measurements. In the event of instrument failure, incorrect identification will be stored and the data will be considered invalid. The zero point test is conducted at the beginning and end of each cycle, and the PM2.5 air particulate matter monitor BAM-1020 can still maintain normal output when measuring blank filter paper. Drift measurement is achieved by automatically inserting a reference film along the measurement path
